Have used Great Lakes Heating and Air Conditioning for several years. Just had a Furnace and Air Conditioning installed. Amy, our Comfort Advisor was absolutely excellent. She was very detail-oriented, explained all clearly, and answered all our questions. We couldn't have asked for a better person to work with. Jeff, our Installation Technician did a fantastic job. He was considerate of our home and there was no clean up needed when the job was complete. Another important area to us is when you call in for service. Our a/c died a few weeks ago with temps in the 90s. Great lakes came out the same day, Mr. Stoner was professional and gregarious. No one likes to have to pay for a new a/c but he made it a bit easier. The price was comparable to other companies in the area. They had my new unit installed within two days. The gentleman who installed it were on time and worked extremely clean. If we were not already impressed with the impeccable service the lovely gift bag and the lemon cookies were out of this world. Great lakes is a gem and we will be calling for all of our future home needs.

"Talk About Great Service!"

I recently had my summer checkup of my furnace and air conditioning on September 5th. Clark, the service attendant who arrived at my house, was polite, friendly, and completely explained everything that he was doing. When Clark went outside to check things, he even folded up my gardening hose that I had left on my yard and placed it close to the house. Talk about great service! These service technicians always represent your company in good and unexpected ways. The other thing I want to mention is that back on January 6th, 2006 my original furnace, which was not from Great Lakes, broke down and it was about 8 degrees outside. I called a variety of furnace companies, but the only company that responded and came out to help me almost immediately was Great Lakes Heating and Air Conditioning. They got my furnace working again on one of the coldest days of the year and I have been with them ever since.

The differences? When I needed new AC, I got three on-site estimates. One was a glossy car-salesman-like company, another was an old-family folksy company, and then Great Lakes. The glossy guy I disliked, and it was pricey. The folksy guy I liked, but his knowledge was lacking--he thought my old AC concrete pad would work fine, but the Great Lakes guy said you need a new pad, and also he recommended running a new duct from the basement to upstairs so that cooler air there saves stress on the AC system. I have confidence in this company.
